One of my very favorite songs from Carmines original composition collection in his latest CD “You Speak To Me In My Dreams Collectors Edition” is the song “Angel”. It starts as a classical rock waltz and gradually evolves into a full fledged exciting guitar solo with overdrive played by Carmine. It never loses the groove considering the transition from classical to heavy rock. The build up is awesome and leaves me emotionally turned on! Carmine is an amazing guitarist who has been playing professionally since the tender age of 9 years old as a studio guitarist. He has earned over 24 Grammy s throughout his career. He is not stuck in any genre, he plays rock, funk, blues, jazz, classical, Latino and along with guitar, he can also play mandolin and bass. Carmine is the one you heard playing guitar and mandolin on all of the “God Father” movies. He also played with the Bee Gees on “Saturday Night Fever” starring John Travolta.
