Carmine and I had only been in Arizona a few months when Carmine was asked for an interview from our local newspaper. The interview covered Carmine’s career and how we met and married and the article was featured on Father’s day of 2008. The article ran on the front page and 3/4 of the back page. After being interviewed by Susan Randall in our home, the Dispatch sent a photographer Steven King to Carmine’s concert that was held for the Tucson Jazz Rock Society at the Old Publeo Grill in Tucson. It was an outside concert and the night was breezy and beautiful music filled the air. The picture they featured on the front page was the one where Carmine blew me a kiss before he started playing with the band. I attend every one of his performances and he makes sure that he can see me through out the concert. We have a mutual admiration and adoration for each other and I’m very proud of how multi-talented Carmine is. But even though he has been honored to play with many famous actors and music artists, Carmine remains a humble man and is very easy to talk to and very approachable. Those are some of the wonderful qualities that I love about him. It’s very difficult to scan a newspaper article and still be able to read properly. So I decided to copy the article from the internet to make it easier to read.
